Common questions about home and business film.

Do you come to my home or business for window film?

Yes. We install residential and commercial window film on site across the Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex.

Will it make my rooms dark?

Not with the right film. The films that block the most heat are often some of the lightest, because the heat is stopped by the coating, not by how dark the film looks. Most people cannot tell a window has film on it until they stand next to one that does not.

Will it work on double pane glass?

Yes, on most of it. Some sealed double pane units and low-e glass need a specific type of film so the glass is not stressed, so we check what you have before we recommend anything.

Will it look mirrored from inside?

No. Reflective films mirror to the outside in daylight and stay clear from where you are sitting. At night, with your lights on inside, that flips, which is worth knowing before you count on it for privacy in a bedroom.

Can we stay in the house or keep the business open while you work?

Yes. We work one room or one section of glass at a time and only need clear access to the window and a few feet in front of it. For a business we can plan around your hours.

Why does it look hazy or have small bubbles at first?

That is a little water still drying out between the film and the glass, and it is normal. It clears on its own as the film cures, usually within a few weeks, and faster on sunny windows. If anything is still there after about thirty days, call or text us.

How do I clean the windows afterwards?

Wait about thirty days for the film to cure, then use any glass cleaner without ammonia and a soft cloth. Nothing abrasive and never a blade or scraper.

Is your film covered by a warranty?

Yes. We back our film with a lifetime film warranty. Ask us for the details on your project.
